This is a live simulation of the real logic — not a video. One scripted drive, on loop: watch the layout escalate the moment the driving gets serious, then watch an oil-pressure drop hijack the whole screen.

The rules it lives by

Written by a crew chief who's watched drivers miss gauges at 100 mph. Every rule exists because attention is the scarcest thing in the car.

Motion means meaning.

If something on this screen moves, it's because you need to look at it. The layout never fidgets, never decorates. Movement is information — so when the dash rearranges, your gut already knows why.

Escalate fast. De-escalate slow.

Throw it into a corner and the dash is in SPIRITED before you exit. But it only calms down after six seconds of sustained chill, one level at a time — no flickering back and forth mid-session.

Deviation, not raw values.

Oil pressure tracks RPM. Fuel pressure tracks boost. A "normal" number at idle is a disaster at redline — so WAPOW shows distance from normal-for-right-now. Steady when healthy. Loud when it isn't.

Sentinel gauges stand watch.

Oil pressure, fuel pressure, AFR — the three that kill engines — live in a small fixed home row, always on duty. The moment one goes abnormal it promotes itself to the main view. You cannot miss it.

Alerts triage themselves.

Two problems at once? Three? Each active alert claims a slot — one big, two medium, three small — ranked by what kills the engine first. Everything non-critical dims and gets out of the way.

Knock gets caught in the act.

Knock flashes instantly, tagged with the RPM and load where it happened, and logs every event with an unread badge. One tap at the next stoplight tells you exactly what your engine was doing when it pinged.

Built by a former Formula Drift crew chief, documented on camera from the first breadboard onward. Test car: a 2000 Impreza 2.5RS with an STI heart. Every failure ships as an episode.
